Simple springloaded snare

You'll need to set this one up near a sapling tree and two y-shaped sticks for the trigger.

Cut all branches off the sapling. This is because branches catch air when the trap is set off and most of its power is lost due to air friction.
Prepare one of the Y-shaped branches by cutting around the top and bottom.
Use your rope, tie one end to the top of the sapling and the other end to your prepared stick.
Tie a simple snare loop to the other end of the stick.
Drive the second Y-shaped stick into the ground.

Use other sticks or debris to keep the snare off the ground, when your target steps in it and snares itsself, it will seperate the two Y-shaped sticks and hopefully sending the animal up in the air!

Practice, but respect the local laws!!!
