Whether I'm trying to make a plate or cup, it NEVER looks anything like how the pro's do it, but at least it's functional.
Practice makes perfect, as they say. Well, most of my practice time is in the forest when I'm out there enjoying myself. The clay I use comes from a nearby stream, and I mix it with ashes. For some reason, the final product is waterproof and harder than without it.
